Wild deer leg tendon, slowly dehydrated at low temperature. It's the densest, toughest piece of the deer: an extra long-lasting chew that keeps your dog busy and calm. It provides concentrated natural collagen and its firm texture supports dental hygiene.

The difference from a regular deer tendon is density. The leg tendon bears the animal's full weight, so its fibres are far more compact: it chews more slowly and lasts considerably longer, even though the material (collagen) is the same. It's the option for when a regular tendon is gone in five minutes. It's not indestructible: no edible chew is, nor should it be.

Suitable for

• Dog size: small, medium and large. A small dog will gnaw it gradually over several sessions and it lasts days
• Hardness: 4 out of 5, hard. The hardest piece in the range
• Lasts: long-lasting, 25 minutes or more. Between 30 and 45 minutes for an intense chewer of 25-30 kg
• Not recommended for senior dogs with dental wear or missing teeth: chicken gizzards or deer ears suit them better
