Red Wine "A tort i a dret" - Grenache Noir

Special, limited production of just 237 bottles.

• Varieties 🍇: 100% Grenache Noir
• Winemaking: Minimal intervention. Crushed, separating grape from stem, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and 2-week maceration. Gentle pressing and 10 months of ageing in stainless steel, plus 10 years in French oak barrel and 3 years resting in bottle. Contains 20mg/l sulphites.
• Vineyard: Estate-owned, +25-year-old vines in La Figuera, Priorat. Clay soils.
• Harvest: Late September to early October 2009. Hand-picked.
• Bottled and made: At our Winery in La Figuera, spring 2019, with natural Catalan cork.
• Alcohol content: 17% vol.
• We are not part of any D.O. (Denomination of Origin). We belong to the independent collective Vinyataires Lliures.

What does our wine's name mean? "A tort i a dret" ("rightly or wrongly") — the wine that rested in barrel for 10 years. Without dwelling on what might go right or wrong, free to become itself without needing a reason, because it doesn't need one.
