Organic Red Wine "A plena veu" - Carignan and Grenache Noir

• Farming: Organic, minimal intervention.
• Winemaking: Minimal intervention. Crushed, separating grape from stem, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and 1.5-week maceration. Gentle pressing and 8 months of ageing in stainless steel. 20mg/l sulphites.
• Vineyard: A single plot of +25-year-old vines in El Molar.
• Harvest: September 12, 2022. Annual hand-harvest, in crates of no more than 20 kg.
• Bottled and made: At our family Winery in La Figuera, with natural cork from Catalonia.
• Alcohol content: 15% vol.
• We are not part of any D.O. (Denomination of Origin). We belong to the independent collective Vinyataires Lliures.

What does our wine's name mean? "A plena veu" ("at the top of our lungs") — our first wine made with Carignan, a variety that can't be grown in La Figuera due to the climate and one little recognized within our family. With full conviction and confidence, we shout it from the rooftops: we've made a magnificent wine, and we're proud of it.
