Organic Red Wine "A trenc d'alba" - Grenache Noir

Micro-production of just 685 bottles.

• Varieties 🍇: Grenache Noir (Garnatxa Negra)
• Farming: Organic, minimal intervention.
• Winemaking: Minimal intervention. Crushed, separating grape from stem, spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts and 30-day maceration. Gentle pressing and 9 months of ageing in stainless steel. 25mg/l sulphites.
• Vineyard: Estate-owned, old vines in La Figuera. Clay soils.
• Harvest: 2nd week of September 2023. Hand-picked, in crates of no more than 20 kg.
• Bottling: At our Winery in La Figuera, with natural Catalan cork, in the 1st week of November.
• Alcohol content: 14% vol.
• We are not part of any D.O. (Denomination of Origin). We belong to the independent collective Vinyataires Lliures.

What does our wine's name mean? "A trenc d'alba" — the rebirth of our family winery, like the sun breaking over the horizon at daybreak, lighting up the sky. It was with this wine that we reopened the winery in 2018, the winery our parents founded in 2004.
